I just wanted to post a quick note about PharGus for all our friends and fellow dog people. Gus was a little gimpy the other day when we returned from Carthage so he did not race on Sunday, he stayed home and watched football with his dad :-) The gimpyness in his right rear was off and on but not improving so he visited the fine folks at PetPals today. Doctor Olden-Stahl believes he has a minor tear or some sort of muscle damage around his right knee. It does not appear to be serious so with the proper treatment Gus should fully recover and continue his already impressive racing career. At this point I think its safe to say that he wont be racing anymore this year but we are already looking forward to Spring training and better health. Gus wants you all to know that he is well and happy and being taken good care of by his doggie mama and doggie daddy :-)
