I just wanted to throw out a passing thought to all the new CF parents out there who I know are constantly worring about there babys, belive me I have a mother too! Being born with CF is a harsh set of cards to be given. No one is prepared for it and certainly no one deserves it. Being that that is said, today there are amazing breakthroughs happening in the medical world for CF. I, personally, have to be grateful for that. It means that the children born to this generation are very lucky to be born in a time when there is advancement and more information known about it. There are some of us who are so very grateful to still be here, but also appreciate and are so happy that there are younger CFers who will get faster and more advanced care then those born in the 80s or before. This was just a thought I wanted to share in hopes that those who read it will understand. Thank you to all the scientists, doctors, and nurses (and parents!) who work so hard for us. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
