I knew this from day one, but I was worried Id sound like I was wearing a tinfoil hat. Now that the Wall Street Journal is out on this branch, let me tell you whats really going on here: the administration and the Democrats who passed this law knew it would terminate a lot of plans that people were happy with and force them to take a more expensive alternative. This isnt by accident, but by design. I quote: Liberals claim the new insurance should cost more because its better, at least as defined by liberal paternalism. But the real reason they want policies to cost more is to drive as many people as possible out of this market and into the subsidized ObamaCare exchanges. The exchanges need these customers to finance ObamaCares balance sheet and stabilize its risk pools. On the exchanges, individuals earning more than $46,000 or a family of four above $94,000 dont qualify for subsidies and must buy overpriced insurance. If these middle-class ObamaCare losers can be forced into the exchanges, they become financiers of the new pay-as-you-go entitlement. That is why not a single Democrat is shedding a single tear over this. Everything is going according to plan. Thats why you need to understand that this problem does not begin and end with Obama, or Reid, or Pelosi, or any of those people. It starts and ends with LEFTISM. LEFTISM gave us this awful, destructive law.
