I know Ive been a little MIA lately on IG, but Im pretty much down to one day a week of resistance training. Im trying to strike a comfortable balance between staying active and not pushing it too much. Everything feels a little harder these days :) It could be the extra weight, lack of sleep or just the energy it takes to grow a person! Whatever it is, Im doing the best I cant to keep on moving! Ive noticed a few new take aways from this workout: 1.) My belly now gets in the way of one of my favorites...the single RDL. It might be time to phase these out :) 2.) Anything involving my legs is not only exhausting, but feels a little iffy on the hips...so I notice myself incorporating more upper body work than normal. 3.) My core strength is disappearing at a rapid rate at this point, and even a 15 second side plank is kicking my butt! Oh boy, 8 more weeks! 2x: 12 Front squats 12/12 Alt incline chest press (hold at top) 12/12 Single arm bent rows 15/15 Side plank 2x: 12/12 Single RDL 12/12 Pull down, reciprocal 12 Curl to OH press 15 OH tricep extensions
