I know many, especially the Political elite, will disagree with this solution, for their own selfish reasons. But i do hope this get to Mr. President. We all saw what happened to the people of Libya, Egypt even Ivory Coast. This all happened because the citizens were pushed to the wall. I wish such never occur in Nigeria, because if it does, it is we the poor that will feel the heat, because you, Mr. President and the elites will be flown out of the country that you all must have succeeded in dragging into pit. Because of this fact, i have taken my time to write this, so that history will record it, that sometime ago this advice was once rendered; what ever you do with it, will definately conclude history. Precisely one hundred years ago, an Amalgamation was made by the british. Sir, that Amalgamation was never done on our own interest, but that of the British. On that ground Sir, i boldly say here and can be quoted anywhere in the world that that Amalgamation was a big and terrible mistake, that have caused us our lives and properties over the years. For crying out loud no man with his right state of mind will ever think of an Hausa and Igbo man brothers, or a Yoruba and a fulani, with all the numerous differences! Why do we keep on deceiving ourselves, why cant we tell ourselves the truth, that we are not one, and can never be one, why cant we tell ourselves the truth, that the problem facing Nigeria is Ethnicity and not Religious believe, why cant we tell ourselves the truth, that Nigeria can never be the Nation we want it to be due to the diversity, the difference is just too much and can not be comprehended. we have seen for ourselve what ethnicity has caused our people. with all due respect to Ex President Obasanjo, if Odi in Bayelsa were to be in Ogun State where he hail from, would he have sent over 5,000 soldiers there to rape and murder the people of Odi, all in the name of looking for suspected murderers? No, he wouldnt have done that, because that is what true brotherhood means, protecting your own people. Mr. President, if Borno, Adamawa and other North Eastern state who has suffered terribly from the hands of insurgents, were to be states from South South, including your darling Bayelsa state, would you have folded your hands for almost 5years before responding? I am compared to say that you are responding now because Shekau has threatened Niger Delta. Off all states affected by Boko haram; Sanusi chooses to give hundred million naira to Kano State, because they at Kano are His real brothers and sisters. How can we call ourselves brothers when my own brothers and sisters (Igbos) are unconstitutionally deported back to their home by Governor Fashola of Lagos state, how can we call ourselves brothers and sisters when i was born, brought up, and schooled in this South South state, yet can not occupy a political office here, just because i am from the south east, i am but a stranger to them, how can we call ourselves brothers and sisters when as essential as education, we still do not share same view. Though most islamic leaders today are crying of the killings by Boko Haram (BH), so many of them still share same view with the same insurgent, and i do not blame or condemn them, because that is their own believe, this alone is enough reason for splitting to be considered. It is not how far we have lived together that matters, but how well, indeed we have not actually lived well. Ndi Biafrans have fought for her independence, militant fought for their right, because Abuja to them is a foreign land, so using their resources to develope a foreign land to them is an act of stupidity, and i, and so many Nigerians see reasons with them. Why do we keep on deceiving ourselves, living in pretence. BH said they dont want western education, and have gone extra miles to prove to Nigeria how much they despise western education. So i humbly ask what is it, that is still keeping us as one? During my NYSC I watched the referendum that led to the splitting of South Sudan and Sudan, today Crimea is part of Russia, due to a referendum, why cant we follow same step. The country has already been shared Oodua (Yoruba) Arewa (Hausa) and Biafra (Igbos), why not take a step further and make it formal, by calling for a Referendum. Mr. President with all due respect sir, you have all it takes to end the crises in Nigeria. I am not doing this for recognition, nor for political reasons, but i am doing it for a singular goal: Averting future catastrophy that might befall Nigeria, Actuallising our (Biafra) ultimate goal. Finally, will Nigeria continue to change her attire each time a new President enters post, i thought we are one Nigeria, why change of attire? Pls sir let my people go, call for a referendum.
