I know this is a long shot. But I am a CYPA and Youth film program director at fort bliss. I work with the military at risk teens whos parents are currently deployed, about to deploy to Africa or have parents who died in combat. Our teens have the highest number of community service hours out of all the teen centers in texas. I took some of these teens and started a film club because many of them aspire to be editors, directors, producers and cinematographers. I even have some amazing make up artists in the bunch. Anyway my goal is to lift there spirits, help them succeed and encourage their dreams. for many of the kids our center is like a home because they are always alone at their house. Anyway they recently found out that a certain superhero film is being filmed in NM starring their favorite director/producer. there eyes lit up. I have been calling around and have had no luck. I just want to see there dreams come true. in hopes to get an inspirational video, a chance to visit the set or meet the actor I am writing to you. We wrote letters to people that inspired us this week and well atleast half of them wrote to you. I thought maybe I would reach out to. Most of the kids in my club are 11-13 years old and within the first two months of this clubs existence. They have created a 20 minute zombie film ( I attached the trailer) , anti bullying vidoes, and have come together to become leaders and amazing community members. here is a link to the centers facebook page https://facebook/MilamYAC.
