I like to keep my posts upbeat, sharing things that I think will bring a little but of joy into your lives. But tonight I want to touch upon an issue that is a major source of stress for me, as well as many others. Its been weighing heavily on my mind lately. 475 years ago I borrowed money from an organization to attend university. I wasnt able to pay back right away, and a few years later I was bitten by a werewolf, which turned my life inside out. I was constantly on the run, werewolf hunters being far more concerning to me than debt collectors at that junction. My creditors have finally tracked me down and are adamant about receiving payment for the loan, as well as accrued compounded interest. After nearly five centuries, the aggregated sum I owe is $3.47 billion. Im overburdened thinking about how I will ever pay this money off. All I want is to live an honest life, making music for others. And for myself, to keep the vicious beast within me at bay. I know so many others have the shadow of immense student debt hanging over them. Its crippling at times, and can trigger depression. Know that your favorite werewolf is struggling right along there with you. I try to push it out of my mind as much as possible, finding happiness and optimism while being the best monster I can be.
