I live in the south. I see racial prejudice ALL THE TIME! But I also see my OWN people lynching one another. Spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I have been subjected to it. I am currently BEING subjected to the hate and disrespect from my own people. And it breaks my heart. But what breaks my heart more than anything is when we...WE...act like we dont care. You want people to treat you fair but why cant you turn your loud music down when you neighbor respectfully ask you to? Why cant you kindly move out of the isle without jumping into a defensive attitude when your neighbor ask you if she can get by by say excuse me? Why do I have to be afraid youre gonna key my car if I kindly request for you to move your vehicle from my parking space? Im speaking general based on my own experiences and those of others...but it starts AT HOME!!
