I lost my father when I was 15, and came up to Michigan to live - TopicsExpress

I lost my father when I was 15, and came up to Michigan to live with my Uncle who was a great father and role model. When I was 17 my uncle and I had a falling out and as a result I moved out. I was very fortunate that another man stepped up to make sure I was taken care of until I was 18 at which point I went and lived with my cousin. With out all of these men in my life who knows what would have happened! I have been all over since I was born and am glad to have landed here in Michigan. I am now raising a family of my own and even though some of my male influences are no longer on this Earth we are fortunate to have a couple of them sill in our lives! I want to give a shout out to my dad for teaching me how to be a survivor, to my Uncle Wayne for showing me how to provide a stable home, to Bill Millar for teaching me how to love others wether they are blood or not, to Dave Kinney for teaching me how to work for the things you want, to my Uncle Dick who taught me that if you say you are going to do something you better damn well do it, and all the others that helped keep me on track! All of these men also taught me that it is not neccessary to get paid for everything you do, when others need help- you help. As a result you will get help when you needed it! I have lived my life that way and continue too! To all these men and all the fathers out there HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
