I love my land ......I am absolutely patriotic even if i myself am saying it...can never think of anywhere else as home .....but with no cynicality intended nor there , cant help but wonder...and purely subjective..pletely my perspective..maybe totally wrong...and many may not agree ... Yes very proud of our achievement in space ......but how are we viewing it.....as a scientific progress or because we have become number one in something in some way....and become fit for posterity...the driving need to be in the annals of history, set records ...... And thats when one starts wondering....how does it matter....isnt this more important, .....useful only to those who will benefit from it---------the intellectual, the person who needs affirmation in the middle of somewhere else to gain respect, feel affirmed on being Indian, the affluent classes who can now bask in new found respect..... And that is probably lesser than a percent of the mass called the Indian..........and would this result in something huge for the land....countries way ahead in space are not going to suddenly change the way they think of land,at most 2 day news......how does Maes benefit us currently..or is Mars really something that can truly benefit world Would the average Indian like the 4.5 billion spent ensure no homeless at least in one state......and yes a first time claim like that is far more historic and useful.......chasing posterity there makes sense ... To me personally, while feeling nice ,prouf, yes...but not able to go over the moon...ooops...sorry ...mars over it......well done though...but its not as if we have scaled the biggest peak of human achievement........its all about priorities....and viewing it from where one is sitting...and the view can quite change...a landscape whenm standing up looks vvery different from when looking is looking at it on bended knee..its distances and dimensions ...
