I love that this group is a chance to share insights on hazards and complaints, but tonight I am thinking that no matter how annoyed I am at things on my ride home, Im far less annoyed than I would be in my car. Bike commuting has really improved my quality of life. So Im starting a thread to share what you love most on your ride home. I love the PATH trail between Boulevard and Highland. Crossing Boulevard is like leaving the city behind for a shady green wonderland full of downhill coast. In the spring, I loved stopping by the side to pick mulberries. I kept a zip lock bag in my messenger bag just for that. Ive now got 12 jars of mulberry syrup. It was supposed to be jelly, but what are you gonna do. My pancakes will love it just the same. Soon, I will be giddy every day about the sound and feeling of popping acorns with my tires. Better than bubble wrap. What do you all love on your ride?
