I missed bus yesterday, took a taxi. Driver going 85. Suddenly the brakes then a swerve. I didnt have time to react or think. When he got control I went from back seat passenger side to driver side with back of my shoulders against the driver. Just in an instant I became a rag doll. I have thought really hard about this. Im living an amazing life. I do what I love doing. I travel to amazing places. I have the most incredible son! And friends that I adore. I have been beating my head on a wall for years trying to be part of the crowd. Trying to compete with everyone around me. Letting people hurt me, disrespect me to achieve whatever I can. Im just a woman whose dream is simple, work at something I love to do, help people who have less than me, find a man who sees me the real me and loves me as much as I will love him. Have a home and have grand kids. I have in one moment, one glimmer of a moment realized that I have an amazing life and one day my dreams will come to me. Those people that hurt me or hold me down with disrespect cruel words or jealousy are no longer powerful. Please wear your seatbelt!! The power of a moving car is not a joke. The man walking across the highway we swerved to miss and the driver and I are blessed. Bcuz it could have easily been very very different
