I must share this: I feel someone needs to hear it, and I know with me confessing it I will completely heal and be able to move forward!TEMPTATION: if you say you dont deal with it in some way you are only fooling yourself! I am a former addict! God rescued me, and for the last two days there have been situations where I could have messed way up! My friend and niece Erica even noticed that I was struggling, Yes I am admitting that, and yes its horrible, but I am human and the devil doesnt want me winning souls for the Lord. But in my prayers each day I pray that God protect me, and if I do have the urge, I ask Him to block it!!! To make it where there is no way possible for me to get to it, and I ask Him to do whatever it takes to guard me from it! And twice I was faced with these evil thoughts and twice He protected me! When these thoughts come on me I have so much guilt and shame, BUT PRAISE GOD HE KNOWS MY HEART AND FORGIVES EVEN THE THOUGHT ON SIN THAT I HAD IN MY HEART! My God is so good! I praise Him for answering my prayers and for Him never giving up on me and the mission He has for me . No Im not perfect, yes thoughts go through my mind, I sin, but I get on my knees when I realize I am sinking into my flesh and I cry and beg my Lord to protect me, and He does! I am so blessed to have a savior who has such plans for me that He will protect me so that I may fulfill the mission He has for me! NOW, to everyone who is thinking bad of me for this confession, thats okay! I am confessing these thoughts and making it known to protect myself, and admit it before man as I should. I love my Jesus, and I serve Him with all my heart, but I do sin, just like Peter did, but just because I have sinned doesnt mean Im not forgiven, and willing to win the lost at any cost! I am moving forward today and nothing is taking my joy! My God has never turned away when I cry out to Him, He is always there to forgive, and heal my broken heart!
