I must vent here.... I have an awesome friend, who is also an amazing mother, who has a child with a fatal disease....Tay Sachs. She was told she would not live to see her THIRD birthday, well low and behold she has and passed it as well. She has been on leave from work taking care of her child and supporting herself from what money she did have saved up and donations she has so kindly received from loving caring people. I dont know how many times Ive shared her link to help with her cost for staying home. And the sad thing is now she has two options now....go back to work part time and lose half the time she could have had with her, or quit her job with no income coming in. She doesnt ask for much...if any. But would help in a drop of a hat if ever needed. This child....only 3 years old, cant speak, eat, sit up, laugh or play like any other three year old! So many people dont think about that. Everyday is a blessing to wake up and she still be with us by the Grace of God, but I would truly love to see all of us come together and help Jakebrooksmom Kate stay home with her child! I dont ask for much myself, but think about it, your donation could mean another 24hrs...a week, a month...several months with her daughter.... My plea is to help her stay home. If sharing is all you can do, share and tell your friends to share. $5, $10,....little things always count! Whats it worth to you to see your child talk, walk, say momma, or dada and hear laughs and coos. Thank you in advance!!
