I need advice from parents/nurse friends!!! Shay was dx with influenza a last Monday. Tuesday when I got home she was already much better but continued rotating Tylenol/motrin every 4 hours all the way through Saturday. She kept complaining of sore throat and had a horrible cough. Friday Rod took her to the doctor and said she had an ear infection in her left ear. They gave her 500mg amoxicillin twice daily for 10 days. On day 3 now and her ear isnt getting better. Last night I thought below her ear and jaw area looked swollen and this morning looks more swollen. Now the other ear is starting to hurt too. Should I take her to quick care today or should I wait for tomorrow?
