I need to rant. I find it so weird when you see a raging atheist who believes life has no meaning and everything came from the big bang and when we die thats it, your sliver of time is up, argues with a christian who is really devoted to their religion and believes everything was created in 7 days by God and that you die and go to either heaven or hell. Because both of their arguments are usually pretty silly. They both have some good points, but really how can you be so arrogant as to think you understand the mysteries of the universe and existence? Because a man in a white coat said so? Because an old book written by man that was actually revised several times said so? Have you died before? So how would either of you know? I think both points of view are very over simplified. I think religion and spirituality, much like politics isnt as simple as black or white, left wing or right wing. The truth is probably a lot more interesting. Either way, we should just be good people, love, and help others, and live our lives, and take care of the earth. Im just greatful I have any time at all here. Dont get too cocky human beings are smart, but to understanding all the metaphysical realtities and fundamental principles of the universe... we dont know nuffin. Rant over.
