I need your suggestions and opinion. As you probably know, my top campaign issue in my race for Idaho Senate is that Idaho lobbyists have assumed the title of Idaho’s Legislative Advisors and occupy leased office space in our state capitol between the House and Senate offices, totally monopolizing legislation and the legislators when they are in session. I am creating an editorial style cartoon for my brochure that will picture a king extending his sword and placing the blade on the shoulder of a bowing man in a suit with the following caption: “Lobbyists, I dub you ‘Idaho’s Legislative Advisors,’ and task you with the responsibility to provide your “objective” opinions to our legislators on all legislation you submit for their approval. And, you shall reside in our castle with our legislators and live happily ever after.” If you have a better way to word the kings statement, send it along. If you havent read my oponents letter to lobbyists, it is just a few posts below this.
