I picked up the Plant City puppies today who have been living outside. Out of the seven their was this little one who I was very concerned about the second I seen her. She is only about a third of the size of her litter mates, and was extremely lethargic. We knew she needed to get to the ER right away. My 5 year daughter held her while we drove to the ER vet in Ormond and I was honestly worried she was going to die in my daughters arms (she was that bad). Once to the vet they found one of the worst cases of hookworms they had ever seen. Shes getting a blood transfusion as I type this and I hope our little runt is strong enough to survive. Our ER vet bill is already through the roof and we would greatly appreciate any donations you could call in to them for her care.
