I preached on yesterday, and before I preached I played “Big Daddy Weave’s” video “Redeemed”. They went wild off the “video”—people are hurting; Saints of God, there were a lot of men that knew—threw their various sins and trails that they had been redeemed. Redemption, at its core is a very powerful statement in itself; and Saints of God, if we fully understood “Redemption” we could never stop telling others God’s Grace and Mercy. People of God, what I find to be incomprehensible, is an all knowing and all righteous God finds in His Heart to forgive me a “wretched sinner”; as Paul stated, in: 1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV) 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. The Bible also states in: Romans 7:24 (KJV) 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Saints of God, when you know the diagnoses—it’s not hard to find the cure. At the end of my preaching a young man came up to me and told the story of his mother’s murder. He told me that her throat had been cut 14 times—and he himself had been shot… with an attempt on his life. He told me, with tears in his face… “I know that I am redeemed”. When you are preaching or teaching God’s Word. You never know the congregant’s story. You can never fully know how and what you are saying or doing is touching them—this is something that you can never know be we have to be ever mindful of when we “preach”. To my brothers and sisters that are preaching the Word of God. Keep giving the Word as you are instructed to do by God’s Holy Spirit. God’s Word, Saints of God, will comfort the comfortless. The Bible states in: Psalm 119:50 (KJV) 50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. Be Blessed!
