I put a 33 cent stamp on an addressed post card and place it in my mail box to the side of my front door. The letter carrier picks it up from my home, reads where I want it delivered, and two days later the card and my message is delivered to the addressee whether across town, in a neighboring city, nearby state or all the way out to California or New York. Amazing! The United States Postal Service and all its employees are a national treasure.
