I ran into a dear lady I havent seen for awhile. She asked me do I still go to Church. I responded Yes. She said she stopped going to Church and was tired of pastors talking about giving money. I asked her why should the pastor or speaker not collect tithes or not speak about tithing? I also asked her what would happen if churches stopped collecting tithes and offerings, and no longer did fund raisings. I also asked her do you expect the pastors to pay all the church bills and related finances? Get real. And noooo my pastor IS NOT taking all the money. That is not his character and I dont see him driving 5 Mercedes and bentlys. Well of course, utility services eventually be shut off and if renting a building, churches would be evicted and there would be no church staff. People, lets not be silly and be deceived by the devil. READ and STUDY YOUR BIBLE and PRAY W/O CEASING !!!!!! Good Pastors care about their flock. The Lord holds these leaders responsible for teaching their flock on Biblical principles including tithing so we can live life abundantly. True, money is not everything, however it takes money to live in this world.
