I read a lot of history. Im constantly dealing with uneducated people who know absolutely NO history... I would suggest learning about the world and various events, before making ignorant comments about world affairs. People like to throw around the word terrorist, but.... when I post terrorist attacks by THEIR SIDE, they get mad and call me names. Like say.. Deir Yassin. The Palestinian village attacked by holy Jewish soldiers, and at least 107 villagers were murdered on the spot. You can Google it. But... no, thats not terrorism, those Soldiers werent terrorists. Killing their civilians to take their land is holy, not evil, but when they fight back in any way they can, its always evil and terrorism. Why? I like to talk about things that drive arrogant people batshit. Hey, did you know that in 614, when the (non-Muslim) Persian army re-captured Jerusalem, the Sassanids (non-Muslim) and Jews massacred TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CHRISTIANS? Oh, you never read that in your history books? Interesting... I wonder why? Heres some more history you probably werent taught: In 638, after a Muslim army re-captured Jerusalem, Jews were allowed back into the city. The Rashidun caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab signed a treaty with Monophysite Christian Patriarch Sophronius, assuring him that Jerusalems Christian holy places and population would be protected under Muslim rule. Christian-Arab tradition records that, when led to pray at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the holiest site for Christians, the caliph Umar refused to pray in the church so that Muslims would not request conversion of the church to a mosque. He prayed outside the church, where the Mosque of Umar (Omar) stands to this day, opposite the entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. When the Muslims went to Bayt Al-Maqdes for the first time, they searched for the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque (The Farthest Mosque) that was mentioned in Quran and Hadith according to Islamic beliefs. Contemporary Arabic and Hebrew sources say the site was full of trash, and that Arabs and Jews cleaned it. The Umayyad caliph Abd al-Malik commissioned the construction of the Dome of the Rock in the late 7th century. . What about in 1099, when good Christian Crusaders took Jerusalem from those eeeeeeevil moooslims? TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CIVILIANS WERE MASSACRED by those good Christians. Heres a Christian Crusader eyewitness: Many Muslims sought shelter in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock, and the Temple Mount area generally. According to the Gesta Francorum, speaking only of the Temple Mount area, ...[our men] were killing and slaying even to the Temple of Solomon, where the slaughter was so great that our men waded in blood up to their ankles... According to Raymond of Aguilers, also writing solely of the Temple Mount area, in the Temple and porch of Solomon men rode in blood up to their knees and bridle reins. Writing about the Temple Mount area alone, Fulcher of Chartres says: In this temple 10,000 were killed. Indeed, if you had been there you would have seen our feet colored to our ankles with the blood of the slain. But what more shall I relate? None of them were left alive; neither women nor children were spared. . So.............................. when you throw around the word terrorist and murderers and Islam is not about peace and things like that......... Perhaps a little historical knowledge would be relevant. There are entire books written about all this. I can show you dozens and dozens of Christian and Jewish massacres and atrocities. But, all you know about are a few Muslim atrocities. Not the Christian ones, not the Jewish ones.... Why? You are told that Hamas uses human shields. But... what do you call stealing land, violently evicting the native occupants, and moving thousands of CIVILIANS ONTO THAT LAND??? Isnt THAT using human shields??? Isnt every single Jewish-only settlement built on Palestinian land full of human shields??? But our media wont call them that. Why? I could go on and on and on, but most of you wont care. You are blinded by the propaganda that our controlled media and govt spouts to you daily. Resistance to foreign occupation is not terrorism, and massive invasions and attacks on other peoples land is not self-defense. When your side murders their civilians, its reprisal but when they kill yours, its terrorism. Strange.... Learn some history. Take off your blinders. There is none so blind as he who will not see. Alrighty then... that should clean out the friends list a bit.......
