I read this article, and it makes a great deal of sense to me regarding the endless barrage of symbolism in advertising, especially during large-scale sporting events. I agree with Angelic D Clement that there is a purpose to all this flashing symbolism and attempts to keep our minds focused on darker things. The image is planted in your subconscious for a purpose whether or not you understand what in fact that purpose is. The two men that contributed to this article were disturbed by the contents of the video. I did not watch it, and I am not suggesting that any of you do.
