I really wish the Nissan Leaf didnt say zero emission on it. Something like Emissions offloaded to what is most likely a coal-fired power plant would be more accurate. Or an array of badges could be offered to the consumer at the time of purchase (sort of like the clear guard they put on your hood and mirrors whether you ask for it or not). They could read, like: - Zero Emission Confirmed (Because my home is off-grid solar power) - Mostly Zero Emission (Because I signed up for Xcels wind powered energy thing, but cant actually guarantee that the electronics I got were from wind power) - Super-Low Emission (because I have solar at home, but occasionally charge elsewhere) Whatever.
