I regret to inform you of a death in our family, since we consider cars part of the family, My 1991 Nissan Pathfinder was taken off life support earlier this afternoon,. Although only 24 years old and adopted into our family about two years ago -- it was his time. He had provided transportation and a feeling of love throughout all seasons of Colorado weather, his end was swift, he didnt suffer, timing chain went and trashed the valves, cam and crank, his vital organs. He was doing what he loved to do, being on an open highway, he was transported by trailer to our garage, I hoped for the best, but exploratory surgery while on life support showed there was no hope. It was with a sad heart f I gave approval to Lance to unplug life support, and within minute he was gone. A good and faithful companion -- he was always ready to get started any time for an new adventure, just say road trip and his headlights lit up! Services will be held in the east pasture where he will await the parting out of his earthly remains. He had signed the release for organ donation. In lieu of flowers, please just give your own car a pat on its hood and tell him/her that you appreciate their loyal service.
