I remember reading books on paper. They had a physical quality that gave you a clue to what you might be getting into. As you approached the end you knew it by the number of pages left to be turned. It sometimes became a sadness as you knew beloved characters story was about to end but it was not a surprise. could you read a book on a Kindle and not be able to know the number of pages in the book... and each page might be the last and two characters casual conversation abruptly ends the story . I find it more like Kafka.Disturbing to read without the comfort of holding the weight of the story in two hands
