I return to work this afternoon after 3 weeks off, during which time I attended GRL and hung out with some amazing people, including (but not limited to) Tom Webb, Laura Harner, K.c. Wells, Becky Condit, Max Vos, Rhys Ford, Amy Lane, Mary Grzesik, Mary Calmes, Cate Ashwood and so many others. The second week of vacation, I sat in the house, did some reading, some writing, chatted on Facebook with some of the aforementioned people, and played with the furry kids. The third week of vacation was a carbon copy of the second week. Only today I realized that with the exception of letting the dogs out, I havent been outside once in the last two weeks. I could totally be a hermit. Or a vampire cuz, well, vampires are cool.
