I saw the new Hobbit movie last night, and may I say, Im glad the series is done! But, I digress...there is a scene where one of the main characters, the King Under the Mountain or whatever hes called, is overcome with greed and will not share his vast wealth as he had initially agreed to do. The gold had taken control of his entire being and he lost sight of what is important and was not going to share it with the starving people outside his fortress. Heres my question, do conservatives watch that movie and realize that he represents them begrudging poor people a few dollars a month in food stamps? Or, do they see this character as the greedy poor people expecting something for nothing? Or do they just watch movies like this for the entertainment value, you know, the battles and such. Just wondering.
