I see people hailing the Governor for the reduction of Lasu school fees. Its actually making me sad that we have failed to realise that were just like nothing to them and they can afford to use us to win political games. What we should ask Governor Fashola is; 1: What will be the fate of the more than 250 final year students that dropped out of school because of the hike? 2:What will happen to the students that were brutally hurt/wounded during the protest and rallies? 3:Finally to the parents that lost their children during the protest or the girls that have turned the other way just to make sure they pay their fees,can that be changed or reframed? Are they all victims of circumstance? Is the Governor just realising the state is buoyant enough to subsidy the tuition fee,at least Fashola himself did benbefit from that at some point in his life. Or does he even think that everyone of us is so daft to the fact that hes doing this for the sake of the coming elections.
