I see posts from people telling the world why theyre thankful for certain people or things in their life. Let me give this a whirl. 1. Im thankful for my wife, Sandy, Shes a trooper who not only puts up with me, but gets my brand of weird. I know Im not the easiest person to get along with, but she makes it work everyday. 2. Its no secret Im having a dilemma with my vision at the moment but I am grateful that I had an opportunity to serve in the US Army Infantry. My service taught me the true meaning of honor, respect, integrity, leadership and selfless service. Im privileged to have served with the best warriors who have donned the uniform and was proud to be a part of something bigger than myself. I love 99 percent of my brothers and sisters in arms, both past and present, and enjoy sharing the camaraderie only known by those who have willingly put their lives on the line for each other. 3. My kids. Sandy and I parent eight awesome pets, each with its own unique personality. Four dogs, a cat, a parrot and two ponies. They bring a joy to my life thats beyond comprehension or definition.
