I see that our An Honest Thief film campaign had a good day on Indiegogo. Were closing in on 6 thousand dollars. Weve got just over six weeks remaining to reach our goal of 500 thousand dollars -- plenty of time. Ideally, well reach it and lap it at few times! That would simply provide my brother Tom Sizemore and me the means to make a better film, hire more people from Detroit, our hometown, while investing more money in and around Detroit. Everyone currently on the team has already agreed to a modest fixed compensation. This is a passion project and people like Danny Trejo and Malik Barnhardt, as well as the rest of the team, are pursuing its realization in the same manner as Tom and I. Speaking of Danny T, he is currently back stateside after filming in Mexico and preparing a video in support of the campaign. So, expect to see that video post soon as well as Danny Trejos presence in a much bigger way as this campaign moves forward. I and my Detroit team are also working on the next installment in our Experimental Interview series.... Led by our fearless leader, Randy Ayres, with Michelle Cohl, Zak Marzouq, as well as Zacs brothers and members of Zaks band Forsake The Fallen, we hope to give back to you as much as we receive. I wrote a longer note but just lost it. Ill redo it tomorrow. In short, I ask that if you are thinking of contributing 5 to 20 dollars to this film campaign, why wait? With every donation we move closer to our goal and also gain momentum. When you give, others are more likely to follow suit. Ive read that the feature film crowd funding endeavors that succeed receive thousands of small to moderate contributions. So, we need an army of honest thieves who give a bit to pull this off.
