I see where this might be advantageous: - long car rides so that when you get to your destination you dont have to lug a 90 lb. dialysis machine and all the supplies up to a hotel room for a night. - long canoe and kayaking trips. Imagine if Bill Peckham didnt have to take his 90 lb dialysis machine and generator with him when he rafted down the Grand Canyon? - back country back packing trips. - long flights. I need to know more about how this machine hooks up to my fistula and what happens to the volume of waste water that is removed. I often need to pull 1 - 3 liters of water off which equates to 2.2 to 6.6 pounds. Is there a tube that comes out my pant leg and dribbles water out all day long? I like its potential but need more information.
