I sew. Because I love it and Im doggone good at it. Check with my family, friends and a few responsible white folks. Lately I have been doing alterations. This requires me to deconstruct a garment and reconstruct it to give you a tailored fit. Look at what youre wearing right now and picture it. Naturally, I charge US $ for my knowledge, skill, talent and creativity. I charge a little more for the miracles you wish me to create. So. Do not approach me with, I dont have much money but... or, All you have to do is... or, I already pinned it like I want it...or, I have to try it on? You came to me because you couldnt do it yourself so dont ask me for my help and then tell me how to do my job. And dont short my money. You dont short Macys. You dont short Amazon. You dont short Apple, Verizon, Comcast or iTunes. What I do for you is custom. If you do not wish to pay for custom work, discard the garment and buy your clothes from Walmart and Dollar General because they employ sweatshop laborers...one of which I am not.
