I shall be going to Toronto over the first weekend in April and will be meeting up with Douglas Young, convenor of the Canadian branch of Clan Young. As many of you know, he is the Clan Historian and Bard, and he has written a book called The Youngs of Scotland which is in its third edition. I will be attempting to carry 20 copies of this book back to the UK, so if you would like to reserve a copy, let me know. First come first serve. I think they are about $30 CAD, so about £25 each (Ill check). Why should you have a copy? Apart from telling you EVERYTHING youll ever need to know about the YOUNG name and family, it is the source of his trivia quizzes, so if you want to stand a chance against Steve Young and Bats Meksyphet in the quizzes, youll need a copy. Ill have them at the Clan Tent at The Gathering at Bannockburn Live in June 2014.
