I shed more light on the readiness of Osun state Governor to be imposing tax regime on osun state indigenes,but I was proved wrong by one of my learned fellow on this platform.But,special thanks to one woman,I met the said woman @ filling station here in ogbomosho and woman happened to be the one of the attendees of a meeting that was presided by Aregbesola himself.The woman went further by telling me that the said meeting took place @ one Nexus or pleasure or leisure hotel,osogbo last week.She said Aregbe rolled out his plan to introduce tax regime since what is on ground is unbearable for him to cope and each person excluding civil servants and unemployed graduates in osun will pay N4500 each for period of 4 years I.e for years 2011,2012,2013 and 2015 and by implication each person is expected to pay a sum of N18000 to the treasury of osun state govt and that there will be an evidence of payment for each payer.Honestly speaking,I am not in anyway opposing the payment of tax as it is civic responsibility of every individual but to me,is this not carry quetion mark?.Payment of tax shld be fair and Just!.Aregbeso la!,Leekan sii!!
