I sit here with my list to accomplish in front of me. Seemingly important things which scream at me that they must be done. Like tiny needles, not causing any extreme pain really, but like a tiny splinter; inconveniences of not-yet-happenings. But is not that what life really is, daily, yearly? While these things do not make for good television and high ratings, they are the base of what our existence is. I think that is why, those of us that can realize this, find it easier to be content. We are not creatures who do well under constant pressures, celebrations and over filled lives of excitement. Instead, the best people I know and enjoy simply live their lives richly each day. Even when the high point of that day is getting the lawn mowed, or the laundry finished or the kids do not fight for an entire afternoon! These seemingly small and often unvalued or undervalued things ARE life. Rejoice in them, and the heart is freed to laugh...and in that laughter, everything becomes a production, the grandest production of all...Life.
