I snapped back to reality with the sound of my iPhone buzzing at - TopicsExpress

I snapped back to reality with the sound of my iPhone buzzing at my bedside. Last night was brutal. Grinding away in the studio until 5am, just to tease myself with two hours of sleep before waking back up to face the world. I fell out of bed, slipping into the closest clothes I could find laying on my bedroom floor. After several attempts at putting my pants on the right way I fell back into the bed… Maybe I should just skip this interview. Hanging somewhere between delirium and sleep I forced myself back up and made my way out the door. The drive to Denver felt like nothing short of bouncing down the highway on a roller coaster, holding my eyes open trying not you crash into the cars around me. I stumbled into the small, quaint coffee shop not really sure who I was looking for. My aviator sunglasses hiding the zombie beneath. A couch. I couldnt ask for anything better. I fell back next to my partner Gabe. Wake me up when he gets here. Colorado Music Buzz writer Tim Wegner walked in a few minutes later, sitting down on the old armchair across from me. He smiled then pulled out a tape recorder… Long night? I managed a laugh, You have no idea. Pulling myself back up from the depths of the coffee shop couch we jumped into the interview. Theres those moments in life when its the people beside you that hold you up. Stepping in to take the lead because you simply have nothing left to give. This was one of those moments… So I have to give a special shout out to my good friend Gabriel Montoya and author Tim Wegner for holding it together for me on this article. Much Love.
