I started hauling a friend of the familys daughter to livestock shows this year. She was very quiet, timid, and would break down and cry under pressure. Last year was her first year of showing cattle and she had a nasty steer that beat her up so we were working through some issues with her. Well, at the Oregon State Fair this young woman had the OJSA Supreme Champion Heifer. She showed well, she is willing to do public speaking, stands up for what she knows is right and it turning into a wonderful outgoing young woman. This was what she learned this year from showing livestock. Cant ask for a lot more than that. bh
