I take an enormous sense of pride every time I wear this uniform, the same ones our brothers and sisters wear when they get shot and die. My grandpa was in the Army, my other grandpa (or as my Portuguese roots go, Avo) served in the Portuguese Army. So why do people give me a hard time? I didnt ask for these teeth I have, I didnt ask to lose my parents and have all these freaking things thrown at me nonstop, I didnt ask to not be loved by the people who raised me. Im a nice guy I really am and if youre one of my best friends there would be nothing I wouldnt do for you. I would lend you the shirt off my back, the shoes off my feet, my pants if you didnt wear any and even food if you were starving and I would suffer but theres a line that you do not cross and thats the Line of where you stab me in the back. Im learning to be humble but maybe certain people ought to learn to accept each other despite their deficiencies. Nobody perfect and if you think you are youre youre a liar; nobody is such except God. All I ask is you respect me and Ill respect you likewise. Dont, well dont ask me for anything, just that simple. I got one goal and thats to get home to the people I love dearly and theres nothing you can do to stop me from getting what I want. You will lose
