I think I shocked the heck out of a counselor today. This community leader (Me!) initiated a call TO HER, asking how I can help save a youth clients life. I left a message. Uhhh... She called me back within 30 seconds! Wow... Counselors must not get calls like that often. If I know someone heading down the wrong road (to and through the prison pipeline very soon), and I can help that youth turn his/her life around; I sure am going to try... And then I can sleep peacefully. VLH
