I think it is high time we assembled all the prayer warriors in the land. Things are just going from bad to worse. We need to draw God’s attention to the storm in the nation’s boat. God forbid. Nothing is going from bad to worse. I reject it. And who told you God ever forgot us? You don’t seem to understand the enormity of the problem. Did you not hear that in spite of the trailer load of problems facing Mr President, that even the senators who have always been on his side are threatening to dump him, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and even go further to impeach him? Don’t mid those senators. Nothing like that will happen. They dare not move against the President because of their selfish interest. They are looking for attention. You are playing with fire. You are dismissing the power of the senators? You think they are not rightly angry over the betrayal served them by the President? Who is not in politics for personal interest? You think they will be happy to let the president sacrifice them because of the governors? Ok. You will see how they will frustrateMr President’s political calculations and make him miserable. That is not possible. The president is not a fool. He has weighed his action and decided to place his bread where it will be best buttered. Don’t you know it is the governors who control the structures of the party in the states? You want the President to behold to the senators and incur the wrath of the governors? Who will mobilise the delegates to the convention to elect him as the party’s candidate? Is it the senators or the governors? Look, the governors are the guys with the longer end of the stick. The senators are merely structural appendages.
