I think its fair to say Ive officially been bullied today because of something I thought was fun and funny. Yes, I wore an umbrella hat. How many times on the show have I wore something or done something that gets a laugh out of people? I would venture to say 80% of the time. Today I took a beat down by people who thought I cheated by wearing that hat. I also took a bucket of cold ice water over my head for the #icebucketchallenge shortly after our on air segment and posted it. Im still getting ugly emails, comments and spewed hate towards it. I cant win. The message behind the #icebucketchallenge is to raise awareness toward ALS. Not to beat down people who want to have fun with it, raise the awareness and money towards a cure.
