I thought one of the hardest things that I found when first I entered to University that big changes from doing +2, intermediate or any studies before university is; actually Unis tutors are not really looking for you just to read bit of information of your essays. But what they really want you to do is to take the material that they’ve presented to you but then for you to think about it and say, ‘How does this fit together with the stuff I already know? Does this particular idea make sense? Are there problems with this idea?’ ‘Does it maybe work in some areas but not in others?’ and so many stuffs if you can start to get used to doing that, that really boost your marks. My first semester has provided to change my wrting style by doing think and read critically and then, analyse diagonally.
