I thought that becoming the newest member of Brockvilles City Council would have been the highlight of my evening, but I was wrong. My son Liam decided to surprise me at 1000 Islands Restaurant & Pizzeria where my best friends George and Chrissy Sabaziotis hosted my after party. Liam who attends the University of Ottawa decided to surprise me at the after- party.(Love you Mike and Megan Doner for bringing him here) Liam you have always been an inspiration to me and I will never be able to express how much this surprise visit meant to me. My daughter Meara Deery and Andrew Peski along with some of my closest friends made this night very special. I want to express my appreciation to everyone who shared this very special moment. I would also like to thank my campaign manager and close friend Matt Wren who kept me organized and introduced me to a lot of great people in our community and I for that I am very thankful. I also want to thank my co-workers who have been both entertaining and supportive throughout the campaign.
