I took ill Friday morning, & things got worse by Friday evening, so my Vet sent us over to the Animal Hospital, where X-rays showed I dont just chew, but swallow! I was in surgery within 15 minutes! It turns out I managed to swallow parts of my rubber Duck, a clothes peg, bits of textile and other little tit-bits that had blocked my bowels ;( It took almost 3 hours and 3 bowel incisions & 1 large incision along my belly to get it all out, & I was given 20% chance of survival ;(( I spent 5 days in the intensive ward & got into a little trouble due to Mummy & Daddy spending too much time with me ;) I was really good girl, and this morning I was allowed home this morning, but still have a Butterfly needle fitted, for safety reasons, going back for check up and scan on Friday, stitches out in 2 weeks, followed by 3 months of special diet and medication!!! No more chewing for me! Im being watched like a Hawk ;)))))
