I took my horse to the UF vet school for breathing problems. The vet sent me home with 2 prescriptions & some meds for me to get her started, until I get the other from an online vet supply. The vet school charged $20 per bottle for Dexamethasone, which is OK. I ordered it online for $9.95 a bottle, which sounds pretty good. I have used it a lot over the years & have been getting it from my regular vet for $85 a bottle! Thats insane! I dont see how he can justify charging $85 a bottle for something that should cost $20 or less. >:O
