I took the Volvo to the emissions test facilities the other day and I realized something interesting. I was guided in and followed the techs hand signals exactly. Im not one to argue or tell anyone how to do their job. I stopped exactly where he told me to stop, got out of the car like he told me to, sat in the booth like I was instructed, watched him get into my car and instantly reached for my phone and opened the video camera app. Then it hit me. Omg whats wrong with me, I should be more concerned for the safety of others and property. So I shut off my phone left my designated waiting booth and yelled STOP! To the test administrator. I politely informed him that this model is rear wheel drive, and the rollers on the front wheels will do no good what so ever. He thanked me and reconfigured the test and it passed. I think I did the right thing but I didnt get a video of him driving my car off the dyno. Oh well.
