I truly believe people are placed in your path for reason either to guide you or teach you a lesson but if you think about it both are there to make you stronger. Sometime I feel defeated, I feel so worn out and tired of fighting and then I look over my shoulder and to my left and I see all those people who pushed me whether it be to succeed or to fail they have each had an important role as to who I am today. I have not been the best friend, or the best person in the past but there are those people who never stopped believing in me who have stood in my corner back to the wolves defended me even when they knew I was wrong and never for one second left me even when I betrayed them or gave them a million reasons to they seen past my flaws and said you will succeed, you will finish what you start and you will be great, those people despite everything they have heard about me, seen with their own two eyes said nope idc i know better they shoved me into a confidence like no other. I get discouraged daily bc I have a passion that runs deep it consumes me makes me into a monster sometimes, it has made me mouthy, opinionated and hard to deal with yet those same people are right there in my corner. These are the people who have went unreconized for years who stay in the shadows bc they dont seek the attention the ones who have became my root system and know Im going to trust those shady leaves, or walk on those branches and when they snap they will be the ones not saying I told you so but dusting me off, picking me up and encouraging me bc remember cowgirls dont cry, and a winner never quits. I am going to tag those roots right now just to let them know exactly how much they mean to me and how appreciated they are. Thank you for never giving up on me and always having my best interest at heart and never being afraid to tell me the truth even if I throw a fit and stomp cuss and scream you keep it real and instead of walking away you let me make the mistake and help me correct the damage done.
