I usually frown upon airing dirty laundry and forego many rants even though they go through my head. but I feel as of late I need to put my credentials out there when it comes to kids. most of the people on my facebook are friends and wouldnt even need to hear this but there are those out there that dont have a clue who I am but will sure listen to crap they hear and make it their business. ive been told not to care but, hey im stubborn and dont always listen. lets start when I had my first child: I have served on the board for playschool & prek from the time my oldest started until my youngest was old enough for kindergarten, then I stepped up and served on our schools parent council board- even took on president for a term, served as secretary for my daughters dance club, coached my sons little league team, became an assistant 4-H leader, have served on medicine hats little league board for several years, and even helped out my sons volleyball coach this past season. I dedicate my life to my kids. I love my kids. I enjoy being around kids. at the risk of sounding like a dorky mom, I even take pride in being sure that I get along with my kids friends. if im at a ball game or something, I have as much fun sitting with the kids and joking around as much as I do chatting with the moms. i take my role as an aunt seriously and cherish that bond. and yes, I sought full custody of my kids. it was in their best interest. im like any mom and need a break occasionally, to remember who I am and reconnect with me, but I would never want to be without my kids. Ive also took on the responsibility of helping raise another child. because i love her father. i did it for her dad, her, my kids, me, my family. i dont need to ask if im a good mom, cause i already know and my kids let me know everyday.NOW YOU CAN JUDGE ME.
