I wake up every morning to so many different things. Most immediate , a hot strong pot of hazlenut coffee brewing, beautiful flowers in my out of control garden, beautiful pictures of places all around the world I want to visit, The Mara, Iceland, the Isle of Skye, Banff, the dunes in Namibia, the glass factories in Venice, the list is endless. And in that mix is also thoughts of home :) and just when I begin to day dream.... BAM I get a text or email or call from one of my kids wanting to know this that and the other bringing me down to earth! I like my kids! they are pretty super . Here is what one of them emailed me this morning: ( to provide some context we were talking about how tough my class is). Students forget they are at the university level: at this level professors dictate what needs to be and will get done as it pertains to assignments etc... professors are dictators with set limits. You exercise that well deserved authority really well. Good work. That made me smile!
